Type of Services Provided: :Geotechnical investigation, Environmental and construction materials testing. Geotechnical investigation consisted of drilling and logging holes, collecting samples, returning samples to the lab, conducting tests, reporting findings, and providing recommendations for foundations. Materials testing and inspection during construction consisted of observing installation of auger cast piles, testing soils, testing concrete for both paving and in building, observing testing of post-tensioned cables and inspecting placement of reinforcing steel, floor flatness/levelness and inspection and testing of structural steel and masonry. Environmental services included, overseeing removal of underground storage tanks, assessment activities, removal of free product, installation of a vapor barrier system for new building, and on-going monitoring.
