Waste Management Services

ETTL has joined with other firms and agencies to present waste
classification seminars (above) as a public service to waste generators
and other organizations in the Tyler and Longview, Texas, areas.

In addition to providing waste classification screening services to waste disposal organizations using landfills, incinerators and treatment plants, ETTL especially offers industrial and commercial waste generators a constellation of waste management services to help them correctly manage their waste streams -- so they'll be sure their hazardous and non-hazardous waste products are disposed of in ways not detrimental to the environment, meeting the requirements of state, federal and local regulations: in short, helping them make sure they will be in compliance. Some of these services to generators include:

1. Waste Characterization: ETTL can work with an organization to analyze its wastes and set up procedures that will meet landfill and governmental requirements, including correct self-classification of the waste, stating precisely what it is and if it is hazardous: Class I waste, Class II, or if special authorization is needed for disposal.

2. Waste Analysis: If required, ETTL can take samples of waste and have tests performed to properly classify and identify it.

3. Waste Reduction and Minimization Studies: ETTL can work with the waste-generating concern to find out if and how its waste stream can be reduced; or to see if steps can be taken in manufacturing or other processes that will result in a lower classification for the waste (make it more benign), which would reduce potential liability and also make the waste less expensive to dispose of.

4. Selection of Treatment Methods: Helping the generator establish optimum treatment methods to use with the waste to prepare it for disposal.

5. Waste Storage Methodology: Making recommendations as to ways and means for storing waste until it is disposed of.

6. Waste Disposal: ETTL also can arrange for and monitor actual disposal.

7. Documentation: Showing the generator how to do all requisite documentation and paperwork.

8. Training: In sum, ETTL can work with and train generator personnel to manage their waste streams in such a way as to insure compliance.
