Landfill Engineering and Permitting Services

ETTL Engineers & Consultants Inc. can work with landfills and associated organizations in the realm of landfill planning, handling all operational and regulating requirements regarding project management and permitting, as well as requisite drawings and construction management/monitoring. These capabilities are briefed below: (At left: A completed composite liner before being covered with protective soil and put into service.)

(1) Engineering Services, including requisite geotechnical studies, storm water diversion elements, liner configurations and final cover systems, leachate collection systems, and gas-management provisions. (See ETTL's Landfill Geotechnical Services and Landfill Gas-Management Services pages for further information on those particular areas of service.)

(2) Permitting: Assistance in acquiring permits and/or in modifying existing permits, as may be required.

(3) Construction Inspection, including (a) Assistance in Procuring of Contractor(s); (b) Assistance in Preparation of Contract Documents, as well as (c) Provision of Construction Inspections (see ETTL's Construction Quality Assurance Services for Landfills).
